This webpage was created to showcase this logo I created. It includes, but is not limited to, the process of creating the logo, rationale for color choices, appeal to target audience, and design skills.
Here is some of the thinking that went into this logo design:
- I created the logo using the Nova Slim font from Google Fonts and the Aristotelian triangle shapes I am incorporating into the designs for my webcomic. I used Google Fonts because their fonts are free to use, and I wanted the fonts in the logo to harmonize with the fonts I would use for my website.
- I chose the initial color scheme of red, orange, and teal to represent the three main characters in my webcomic. My initial feedback for the first draft of my logo showed that the initial colors I had chosen were too bright, so I worked with them to create a darker, subtler color scheme.
- This logo is for my webcomic, Elemental Fury. Since this webcomic will be heavily based in both science fiction and fantasy, I wanted a logo that would bring in the design aesthetics of both forms of fiction. This logo should appeal to my website by bringing in hints of design elements from my webcomic, so they will want to learn more about it. It should also appeal to them with the modern yet archaic design.
- This logo was created in Adobe Illustrator with the Nova Slim font from Google Fonts. The logo should incorporate feelings of mystery and the simple, clean lines I plan to use for the website. This is a vibrant and modern logo for a webcomic about superheroes conquering in the modern world.
